Steve is the bass player for The Internationals™, doubles as vocalist, and triples as yodeler!
In addition, Steve is one of several tuba players in the The Chico Bavarian Band. Steve's participation dates back to the original 10-piece version of the CBB, which was the first "official" version of the group (because that was the first group to actually get paid!.
Of course, back then he was a so-so electric bass player and hadn't learned to yodel. We kept him around anyway, though; we thought he had potential -- and he was fun at parties!
However, Stevie's role doesn't end at bass playing and singing. He serves as The Internationals™ unofficial spokesman (in other words, he likes to talk to the audience!), he is quite a dancer -- and is frequently seen dancing with a willing frauline from the audience while playing his bass guitar!-- and he shares the duties of bookings coordinator with Portor Goltz.
